The CoffeeMill Dance Scholarship and Outreach Program
offers dance to children of the Key West Community
who are interested in learning the art form but are not financially able.

In 2006 the CoffeeMill Dance Scholarship and Outreach Program received a $1000 grant from the Florida Keys Council of the Arts; State of Florida, Department of State, Division of Cultural Affairs; Florida Arts Council and National Endowment for the Arts and has also been sponsored in part by private donations. Teachers from the CoffeeMill Dance Studio taught dance classes in after school programs in Key West Elementary and Middle Schools.

Help us rekindle the support and keep this worth while program going!

During the 2020/2021 school year we hope to offer dance to all children participating in after school programs in our community by applying for an “Artists in Schools” Art Reach grant. We are also eager to offer more scholarships at the CoffeeMill Dance Studio for those children interested in serious training

but can not afford to attend regular classes. Spring of 2019 we partnered with the Key West Boys & Girls Club, offering a fun dance class at The Annex Studio and would like to add more classes free of charge for them.

Your generous contribution will help school aged children in Key West who may not otherwise have the opportunity to be exposed to the wonderful art of dance.
