Instructor of Ballet, Modern, Creative
Marissa Ajamian is a freelance dance artist and teacher based out of Key West, Florida. She is also a recent graduate of The Ohio State University graduating Summa Cum Laude with a BFA in Dance with Distinction and a History Minor. Marissa first studied ballet and modern (Hawkins and Graham techniques) at Todd Rosenlieb Dance in Norfolk, Virginia and later danced at City Dance Conservatory in Bethesda, Maryland.
She completed two internships while studying at Ohio State and completed a six month internship with the Disney College Program where she was selected to serve as a Character Attendant in the Walt Disney World College Program.
Marissa was awarded a STEP Fellowship to support her research internship with the Theatre Research Institute and studied at summer intensives such as: The Bates Dance Festival, Mark Morris Dance Group, Alvin Ailey, Christopher K. Morgan & Artists, and Erick Hawkins Company.
