CoffeeMill Dance Studio's Child/Teen Classes follow the Monroe County School District’s holiday calendar.
Unless otherwise noted, you WILL have dance classes on early dismissal days!

All adult classes are ongoing unless noted.

JANUARY 2024

 

• Tuesday, January 9 - Winter/Spring 2024 Child/Teen Dance Semester Starts!

• Monday, January 15 - Martin Luther King Day - We WILL have all children’s classes as usual

 

FEBRUARY 2024

• Saturday, February 3 -  8:00p - “An Evening of Dance” - The CoffeeMill Young Dance Collective’s benefit concert at the Tennessee Williams Theatre. Monroe County’s only pre-professional, student dance company will perform an evening of dance featuring the ballet Chopiniana (Les Sylphides) plus other original works. Sponsored in part by Merging Ideas Developing Arts (MIDA) and the CoffeeMill Dance Studio.

• Saturday, February 10 - at By the Bay Studio - Burklyn Auditions (ages 12yrs & Up)

Intermediate Audition Class (ages 10-12yrs) 

9:30a-10:00a - Registration

10:00a-11:30p - Audition class

Advanced Audition Class (ages 12yrs & up)  

11:30p-12:00p - Registration

12:00p-1:30p - Audition class

• Monday, February 19 - President's Day - We WILL have all children’s classes as usual.

MARCH 2024

• March 8-11 - Jump! Convention/Competition in Orlando - CYDC - Comp 1 & 2

• Friday, March 15 - Professional Day - We WILL have all children's classes as usual

• Monday, March 18 - Saturday, March 23 - Spring Break - No Children’s Classes - There WILL be CYDC maintenance classes and rehearsals.

• March 22-24 (not all 3 days) - Starpower Competition in Miami - CYDC Comp 1,2 & Performing Group

 

APRIL 2024

• April 12-14 - Radix Convention/Competition in Orlando - CYDC - Comp 1

• All classes are happening this month!

 

MAY 2024

• Saturday, May 18 at 7:00p and Sunday, May 19 at 3:00p - DanceWorks 21! The CoffeeMill Dance Studio Celebrates 40 years of dance in Key West and proudly presents our Annual Spring Dance Concert featuring Little Mermaid Key West  PLUS other works  at the Tennessee Williams Theatre! This annual dance concert brings together the best original works produced by students, faculty, and professional dancers as they collaborate on an astounding celebration of many styles of dance including ballet, contemporary, modern, hiphop, tap, jazz, lyrical, Latin dance, Afro Caribbean dance, belly dance and much more! Treat your family to some great LIVE homegrown dance! All registered students are invited to be involved!
