CoffeeMill Dance Studio's Child/Teen Classes follow the Monroe County School District’s holiday calendar.
Unless otherwise noted, we WILL have dance classes on early dismissal days!

All adult classes are ongoing unless noted.

JULY 2025

• Saturday, July 26 - Summer 2025 Child/Teen Dance Semester Ends!

• Monday, July 28-Saturday, August 2 - Key West Modern Dance Intensive 2025 at By the Bay Studio - Join us for a unique study experience with extraordinary faculty from major American dance companies. KWMD is a one week modern dance intensive for a total of 18 technique, repertory and composition classes. All classes are mixed level and open to students 10yrs & up. ALL DANCERS WITHIN THIS AGE GROUP ARE ENCOURAGED TO ATTEND regardless of dance experience! These classes are mandatory for current & prospective CYDC members. Any student who is younger and would like to attend or if you have any other questions please contact Ms. Penny at 305-393-3001. Performance opportunities and film documentaries viewing included. Please pre-register on the website at keywestmoderndance.com.  

 

AUGUST 2025

• Saturday, August 2 - 5:30p - Key West Modern Dance students present a FREE Showing of their work, and documentary viewing at the Williams Hall!

• Monday, August  - CoffeeMill Young Dance Collective AUDITIONS! For dancers ages 9yrs & up. Join our pre-professional student dance company!

• Monday, August 11 - Fall 2025 Child/Teen Dance Semester Starts!

SEPTEMBER 2025

• Monday, September 1 - Labor Day - No Children's Classes

OCTOBER 2025

• Monday, October 13 - Columbus Day/Professional Day - We WILL have all Children's Classes as usual

• Saturday, October 25-Friday, October 31 - Wear your favorite Halloween Costume to your class this week! 

• Sunday, October 26 - Fantasy Fest Children's Day Booth at Bayview Park - 12:00p-5:00p - CoffeeMill Young Dance Collective (CYDC) Fundraiser

• Sunday, October 26 - Fantasy Fest Children's Day at Bayview Park - Time TBA - CYDC Performance

NOVEMBER 2025

• Friday, November 10 - Veterans Day - We WILL have all Children’s Classes as usual.

• Monday, November 24-Saturday, November 29 - Thanksgiving Break - No Children’s Classes

• Wednesday, November 26 - 11:00a-4:00p - CYDC Fundraiser - Bake Sale at Fausto's

​DECEMBER 2025

• Friday, December 5 - Wesley House Holiday Village at the Coffee Butler Amphitheater - The CoffeeMill Young Dance Collective student dance company will perform at 7:10p!

• Saturday, December 6 - Key West Holiday Parade - The CoffeeMill Young Dance Collective student dance company will be dancing and entering a float!

• Saturday, December 13-Friday, December 19 - Holiday Open House Week - Parents and families are invited into the classroom and are highly encouraged to attend!

• Saturday, December 20 - Last day of Fall 2025 Child/Teen Dance Semester.

• Monday, December 22-Monday, January 5 - Winter Break - No Children’s Classes - Please Note! We WILL have all classes on Saturday, December 20.

JANUARY 2026

• Tuesday, January 6 - Winter/Spring 2026 Child/Teen Dance Semester Starts!

• Monday, January 19 - Martin Luther King Day - We WILL have all children’s classes as usual

• Saturday, January 31 - By the Bay Studio - Burklyn Auditions for Summer Intensive in Vermont (ages 10yrs & Up)

• Friday, March 13 - Professional Day - We WILL have all children's classes as usual

• Monday, March 16 - Saturday, March 21 - Spring Break - No Children’s Classes - There WILL be CYDC maintenance classes and rehearsals.

• Friday, March 27-Sunday, March 29  - RADIX Dance Convention in Orlando, Florida - CYDC Dancers will be attending!

MAY 2026

• PLEASE SAVE THE DATE FOR OUR ANNUAL SPRING CONCERT DanceWorks 23! Saturday, May 16 & Sunday, May 17, 2026 at the Tennessee Williams Theatre! The CoffeeMill Dance Studio Celebrates 43 years of dance in Key West and proudly presents our Annual Spring Dance Concert featuring an adaptation of Aladdin PLUS other works at the Tennessee Williams Theatre! This annual dance concert brings together the best original works produced by students, faculty, and professional dancers as they collaborate on an astounding celebration of many styles of dance including ballet, contemporary, modern, hiphop, tap, jazz, lyrical, Latin dance, Afro Caribbean dance, belly dance and much more! Treat your family to some great LIVE homegrown dance! All registered students are invited to be involved!
