• PLEASE CALL, EMAIL OR TEXT (Ms. Penny 305-393-3001) if your child will be more than 5 minutes late.

• Missed classes can be made up within the same semester in an equal or lower level class or a higher one at the discretion of the instructor. You may also take a make-up class in another style of dance. We can suggest other class make-up options for your dancer.

• Credit is not extended beyond the end of the semester.

• Remember, class size is limited! Placement is not always based on age, but by training, ability and potential.

• Entrance into a class after start date is at the discretion of the instructor.

• Please check your email regularly since it is our main form of communication for students and parents.

• Your child may choose dance over other activities and we encourage a schedule that does not “burn out” you or your child. The CoffeeMill staff is interested in helping your child evolve into a healthy, well rounded dancer with a true foundation in this exciting and challenging art form.

• There are NO STREET SHOES or sneakers that leave marks, allowed on the marley dance floors. All tap shoes should be inspected for loose screws to protect our floors. Thank you!

Performance Opportunities

Our annual spring dance concert Danceworks 18! is postponed this year but WILL take place October 2021 (exact date TBA) at the Tennessee Williams Theater presenting Alice & Wonderland and other new works. Production and Costume Fee(s) for each dancer involved will be due at the start of Fall 2021 Semester.  Registered students from Creative Movement and up have the opportunity to be involved. The CoffeeMill's "Young Dance Collective" student dance company will also perform throughout the year around the community.

Lots of work to do! Let's get started! Please help your child be ready for their first day of classes. We suggest they become a part of preparing for class by checking that their dance bag has all the necessary tools for class and by arriving early to stretch and begin their “mental” warm-up. Here are some reminders to help you get into the swing of things . . .
